Outpatient therapist

 

Living in Wellness Counseling Services is a rapidly growing Private Practice seeking highly motivated, professional, licensed clinicians for full-time and part time in-person or virtual positions. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete Intakes/Biopsychosocial Assessments
  • Prepare appropriate documentation such as therapy notes and letters
  • Provide weekly, biweekly or monthly individual, family and couple therapy
  • Treatment planning
  • Discharging planning
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
  • Have a basic theoretical orientation in which you approach your clinical work
  • Refer to higher level as needed
  • Minimum caseload of 8 clients per week 



Qualifications:

  • A valid New Jersey State license to practice (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT and/or Psy D)
  • A lifestyle that allows you to work daytime, evenings and/or weekends
  • A minimum of one-year experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults n a private practice or other mental health counseling setting
  • Experience with individual therapy, play therapy, family therapy, trauma informed interventions, co-occurring disorders
  • Candidates seeking virtual positions but have stable internet connection with speeds to support virtual counseling.
  • Candidates must be good at maintaining documentation
  • Candidate must be available to attend quarterly treatment team meetings held  virtually.
  • English, Bilingual a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40-$65.00 per hour (based on licensure)

Intensive in-home clinician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides short-term evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults and their families in their homes or community settings.
  • Schedules and conducts a minimum of one (1) weekly therapeutic session with each youth and family assigned to the clinician, delivered within the authorized time period and in accordance with the authorized number of units.
  • Completes initial consents for treatment and other chart forms as required by policies and procedures.
  • Maintains an active caseload up to a maximum of 30 hours per week.
  • Actively participates in Child Family Team Meetings as conducted by the referral agency.
  • Maintains regular communications with referral sources, including Care Managers and/or Children’s Mobile Response staff as the youth and families progress with treatment.
  • Collaborates with members of the community including schools, medical providers, psychiatric providers, DCP&P staff, treatment facilities and other community resources that the youth and family are engaged with to support assessment, treatment, service planning, and transition.
  • Makes recommendations on appropriate level of care and needed services and links to services in the community, when appropriate.
  • Creates Individual Service Plans (ISP) and modifies treatment approaches utilizing assessment data from standardized instruments. Individual Service Plans need to be updated with each new authorization.
  • Completes Behavioral Assistant (BA) ISPs, when working with BAs, by the second face-to-face meeting with the youth and family and ensures delivery of cohesive and collaborative services with the assigned BAs.
  • Enters clinical notes and other collateral information into the online CYBER system within 24 hours of the session.
  •  MUST BE WILLING TO SEE CHILDREN/YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications for Therapists:

  • Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Post-graduate experience working with children, adolescents and adults with behavioral health and psychiatric issues preferred.
  • Current verifiable Clinical License (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC or LMFT) credential in good standing.
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willing to travel locally within the state of N.J.
  • Flexible schedule, including some evenings and possible weekends, to facilitate program services


Job Type: Contract (1099)

Pay: Salary range: $45-$60 HR for LSW/LAC/ $70-$85 HR- Clinical Therapist LCSW,LPC,LMFT

Qualifications for Behavioral Assistants

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree 
  • NJ Behavioral assistant Certification is a plus but not required. All candidates, however, must be certified within 6 months of employment as per state requirement. Please see training website for more information: http://www.nj.gov/dcf/providers/csc/training/
  • Minimum of 1 year working with children/youth.
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing.
  • Flexible schedule, including some evenings and possible weekends, to facilitate program services
